The Kermanshah ophiolite as part of outer ophiolites of Zagros belt, located in the high Zagros zone (thrust Zagros) with NW – SE trend, 230 km long and 30–60 km wide in the west of Iran, is a part of the Neo-Tethys oceanic crust, that has been obducted on the margin of the Iran plate. This data have been prepared to determining the type of rock, ophiolite forming environment and a structural model for to formation of it. The peridotites of the ophiolite are include dunites, harzburgites, and lherzolites. For chemical analysis 50 samples from less altered (fresh) peridotites, were picked up and providing thin sections from them. The amount of major elements, Minor Elements and Rare Earth Elements (REE) were analyzed. Major elements by (ICP-OES), and Minor Elements and REE were analyzed by using of (ICP-MS), in the laboratory of LABWEST at Australia. These rocks are normalized versus chondrite. To obtain the melting percentage of peridotites, we can use Yb-Sc logarithmic diagram or the logarithmic diagram of Yb-V.
