Abstract
Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma (FDCS) is a rare neoplasm of the accessory immune cells that can present at both nodal and extranodal sites1 . A high index of suspicion is crucial so as to include FDCS in the differential diagnosis of a spindle cell neoplasm in the appropriate clinical and morphological context. However, the morphological overlap with other tumors makes this entity a diagnostic challenge unless supplemented by other ancillary tests like immunohistochemistry and ultrastructural studies.
