Reply to the letter to the editor regarding “Comment on an evaluation of oxidative and nitrosative stress in children-who-stutter and its relationship to severity”

We appreciate the thoughtful and valuable comments on our manuscript by Hyun Jin Min ve Kyung Soo Kim. They have commented on the effects of metabolic syndrome on reactive oxygen species (ROS), which are not mentioned in the Material and Methods section of our study [1]. The study included a total of 80 children; 40 with a stutter as the patient group and 40 as the control group. As has been written in the text, narcotics, cigarette smoking, alcohol consumption, those with systemic disease, recent operation, active infection or a diagnosis of cancer were among the exclusion criteria.
