The horizontal neck lift is a procedure involving direct excision of a horizontally oriented ellipse of skin from the neck. This procedure was developed for neck rejuvenation in patients with significant horizontal creases and excess skin of the middle and lower neck, areas that often cannot be adequately addressed with traditional techniques.
