Abstract
C3-glomerulopathy (C3G) is a rare disease characterised by the deposition of C3 within the glomeruli. Monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) may associate with C3G and affect its clinical course and prognosis. The association between paraproteinemia and C3G is stronger in a subset of older patients with guarded prognosis and provides a pathogenic link between C3G and other MGUS-related renal diseases, collectively referred to as monoclonal gammopathies of renal significance. Here, we describe a unique case with additional cutaneous and vascular significance, characterised by widespread C3 deposition at sites of inflammation.
