Abstract
With over 1.2 million Americans currently living with primary cutaneous melanoma and an estimated 85,000 cases new cases diagnosed in 2017, melanoma represents one of the most commonly diagnosed tumors. The standard of care often involves surgical treatment. To our knowledge, there has been little to no literature investigating decision trends in pursuing surgical intervention for patients undergoing melanoma‐directed surgery.
