Macrophage or microglia might accumulate in the previous hemorrhagic lesion to phagocytize hemosiderin. We assumed that the 99mTc-TRODAT-1 uptake in the hemosiderin deposition might be partially mediated by macrophage expressing dopamine transporter. View on Web
