Abstract
Mesna (Sodyum 2-merkaptoethan sulfonat) is a synthetic sulfhydryl compound used as an adjuvant in cancer chemotherapy. 1-3 Herein we report a case of acute hypersensitivity syndrome related with mesna administration that was misdiagnosed as sepsis. A 6-year-old girl diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia was initially treated with St. Jude Total Therapy XV protocol.
