Conclusion. Arytenoid dislocation should never be ignored in the differential diagnosis of prolonged postoperative hoarseness after ACCF. This situation can be confirmed by CT scan, vocal cord electromyography (EMG), fiberoptic laryngoscopy, or strobovideolaryngoscopy.
